help! can't find the image preview info/histogram...

on my Nikon D50. Feel very stupid and frustrated.

ie. I once was able to hit the up/down arrow keys to get the info superimposed on the preview pic. Now, the arrow keys just nudge the image up/down. I can't get out of this "zoom" mode.

I've been through the menus and manual for hours and can't find it.

hit the zoom out button on the left, the one with the magnifying glass and the (-) sign.

I don't have one of those. What Nikon do you have? Mine has an enter button with a mag glass next to it but that just toggles the preview to a thumbnail. Argh.

sorry, i have a d90. im sure someone here that is more familar with the d50 will help out.

Solved. With the pictures in thumbnail view, I hit the lock button on one. When when I hit enter again, the zoom function was gone. I hit the up arrow and there was my preview information once again. It works by hitting the lock button, then enter again with full preview again also.

I'm glad that's over. I was ready to sell my camera. NOT!!!
