Help me decide...

I had it on live view but I still struggled. How do you make it 10x liveview??? Honestly up close and with ample light it focuses nicely/ perfectly even in AF mode... I just CAN'T understand why it is soft if I am standing a couple or 3 meters away, surely it (eyes/face) should still be crystal clear then?? Why aren't they!!!!! lighting hasn't changed.

Unfortunately, I only have knowledge of the Canonian dialect. Would love to help you in Nikonian, but I have, alas, no experience with that flavour. So 10x liveview will require someone with that experience to speak up. On my Rebel, I can get the focus box to enlarge by pressing the (+) button (that's the one with the + magnify symbol). Do it once, and it's 5x magnify, do it twice and it's 10x.
