Help me discover the truth - The Truth is Out There

This photo was taken by my uncle while visiting Mexico in January. It is one of 600+ pictures they took while there. This one stood out...just a bit. This is taken at the Mayan Ruins of Tulum.

What I need help with is verifying the integrity of the digital shot, and/or identifying the strange "UFO" like blob in the the left hand corner.

(I am in firm belief that from my investigation of the image that this is not a natural object. Perhaps a plane, but that is very unlikely given its shape.)

Frankly it looks like a garden variety crow to me. As do the other two black spots in the sky above the ruins.

I think it is a bird as well. Looks like there are 3 of them.

i believe it to be a bird as well. i hear mexico has had a lot of "sightings" and that may be your reason for being suspect.?

I think its a bird...and if your really carefull I think I can see its beak!

Definitely an alien ship.If you look closely you can make out lights and an advanced engine system.. oh wait no it's a bird.

I agree... probably a vulture that was using the airstream of the sun warming up the rock building to carry it higher into the air(instead of all that hard work called flapping)
The camera had it's settings too short and the barrel distortion also probably messed with it a little. making it blurred a bit.

Although, if you really want it to be a UFO you can always go post it HERE :mrgreen:

Hmm to all you none believers it may ‘just’ look like a bird but… to me it looks a little more!! There are often sightings over such places of historical interest, power stations etc. I think you have a good pick with promise you should send it to some one really, search the net a little!

In honesty, I frankly could care less what it was. I was trying to get people on here to use thier computers and software to look at it closer with me, and so far no one has come up with the same thing I did.

I have no damn idea WHAT the object is, but I am quite sure it is NOT a bird from messing with the picture in photoshop, cropping, zooming, adjusting color, sharpening etc.

As for 'snot' on the lens, not a chance. The rest of the pictures are crystal clear - perhaps not very well taken at times, but they are clear of any blips or blurs aside from natural ones.

Oh well, still a cool thing to notice in a shot no matter if it is a bird or not. I still think i could send this to nasa and they wouldn't be able to decipher it.
