A local magazine is having a call for the cover of their bridal issue. This is a small local magazine.

Here are the top picks, mine and the models are mixed all together...

But we both agree #14 should be entered but can't agree on any others.

I only like #5 crystal (surprise.. surprise LOL). But you still have to fix the vertical and reduce the blue tint on the shadowed part (not hard using LR3).

I like 5 too but I don't see that on a cover because it is horizontal. And her face in that picture is not very flattering.

And the park in the balloon shots is a very local downtown park, one look and anyone would be able to tell we were in Pensacola...
I don't know if that is a good thing for a local magazine or not.

They already have some they want to use inside the magazine

so at least ONE will be in a magazine. My first publishing!

I just dont like the blown highlights. Your close up shots didnt have as much blown highlights and #5 i like the composition. The other close ups not so much.

Then all horizontals should be eliminated from the choices.

Years and years ago I learned that covers and adds REQUIRE space for the text. Your decision for this contest MUST provide for that. You can web search cover design or similar and then recrop for that intended use. THE BEST RESEARCH is going to be past issues of THIS mag. Do they always text the left edge? The right? The top? The bottom? Cater to your audience.
