I am very new to this HDR stuff but i really want to learn. Any tips on what setting to adjust. I have tried just about everything and they all kinda turn out like this one.
There is a lot of noise in it. I also can't get it to show as much detail as the other HDRs I have been seen. The others just seem to pop. I just did this one and like like it the best so far.
My images are often lacking "pop" straight out of photomatix. In there, I mainly focus on having detail where I want. Then I adjust curves/levels/hue/saturation and all that jazz in photoshop. That's where the poppin''s happening.
As for your shot, I'd like more contrast in the sky, and a little lighter house. I don't like that you've cur the house in two. Too much sky, too little house, in my opinion!
Adjusted curves in the sky. Adjusted levels for the house and trees. Burned and dodged to make some contrast on the house.
One, actually buy photomatix. Two, HDR is just like any photography where you want to shoot when you have the best light. This seems a bit early. Also this scene is pretty bland to begin with.
