Help shotting 4 cars this sunday

so as the title says im going to shoot 4 cars this sunday. i have a good spot by the beach. r we might try another spot which shows downtown Miami in the background. what setup should i use? itll be out in the day. m not too worried about the actuall shoot itself. but on our way there...i wanna take rolling shots. what setup should i use for rolling shots?

not long enough so it will blur but long enough so that the backround is blurred and the wheels are in motion..please give me some tips.

oh and also...i heard that if the sun is behind you and if you hide your shadow your pics shoud be better? is this true?
