Help trying to re-create this shot

Hello,

I am trying hard to re-create the image below(blue check shirt with blue and gold tie), whilst I think I have got it quite close and am trying to work out how I can zoom in closer to the label whilst keeping the cuff in the shot.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

Your second image seems underexposed to me.

Two suggestions:

• Can you pull the exif data for the original shot? Differences in focal length can produce slight differences in proportions, so to match the original exactly you'll want to use the same focal length and the same offset. You can get close by using a different focal length and compensating with an appropriate offset, but it won't be exactly the same.
• There is a very good chance you won't be able to mimic the original exactly - I suspect that the label in the original is non-standard and was sewn into that shirt expressly for the photo op. Notice that the second photo has the lower tags, and that the top of the top tag seems to be closer to the collar than in the original. So not only are the tags not identical, I would believe that the label in the original photo is not only larger it might not even be sewn into the shirt, merely placed once the shot was lined up (so it's not necessarily a matter of zooming or of matching perspectives but rather trying to compare apples to oranges).

Nothing to do with the label - Twyrwhitt use a number of different labels on their shirts.
The effect can be achieved by application of Scheimphlug's rule, which states that the image plane, lens plane and the plane of sharp focus must all converge on the same line. This would be achieveed with either a technical camera with tilting front or rear or a tilt and shift lens.

Hi!
I believe that if you'll change the angle from which you shoot (a bit more from above) you'll get better results.
In addition try folding the sleeve so that the part on which the cufflings are placed will be a bit thiner, and then you'll be able to zoom a bit more.
One last thing - exposure should be about 1/2 - 3/4 stops lower I believe.
