Help with buying a camera

Hi. I'm only new to photography, and can only afford a basic camera.

Ignore the price in each case. There is only a 10euro difference where I'll be buying them

Here are two that I have found. I would like to know which is the better of the two as cameras go! Thanks for your help!

Go with the Fuji - they've paid their dues in photography, and they care about cameras and photographers. Also, the camera offers IS and various scenes that might make your life easier.
