I'm in the process of buying a Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n but don't find a place recommending AF Nikon lenses for this camera.

Could somebody pls help with some hints of which lenses from Nikon to start ( with (they should be able to autofocus, as well as accept manual settings). I have been told that the Nikkor AFS 17-35 mm f/2.8 is a great lens but won't autofokus with this camera.

It would be nice to have a 17 - 35 mm lens for macros, as well as an AF lense in the range of 50 - 150 or 200 mm for tele.

Thanks for any suggestions!

My advice to you is, don't buy that camera. It's junk, imho. We use those at work, and they are nothing but a pain. Noise, moire, bad color, and noise, and noise, and yuck.

Why are you interested in it?

As for lenses, a 17-35 is not a macro lens. Macro lenses are typically primes, like a 50mm, 100mm, and 180mm.
