Help!

I really love this picture of my family and need a picture to display at our church. One problem...that big sun streak across the whole picture
Can someone help me?

Hi Saravannus and welcome.
I can see why you like the photo, all three of you are looking good at the same time in the same photo! That light streak runs right across your face (I'm assuming you're the pretty lady?) and it's washing out all the detail. Getting rid of the sun streak entirely is beyond my skills and would take an expert longer than is justified by the quality of the image.
To be honest and to cut a long story short, as photos go it's a bit of a pig's ear and you can't make a silk purse out of it.
However, as it's THAT time of year I'm making the assumption that the photo was taken by a friend who isn't going to object to me messing with his/her image (copyright issues). I gave it 15 minutes, scrubbed some of the dirt of the pig pen off, laid it on a bed of lettuce on a nice plate, sacrificed a virgin field mouse to enable a spot of black magic and here's what I came up with.
(Find a good pro photographer in your local area and have a session with him or her, your family is good looking and you'll be glad you did it in years to come.)

Take Grandad's advice, reshoot (far far away from that plastic sheet that is causing this issue)

Gave it my 15mins, no virgin field mice were harmed for my edit however.....

Alot more time and experience could clean this image up fairly well, however it will always look over processed once it is printed and people can walk up to it.

Have to agree with the above. While you all 3 look happy and sweet in the photo, the quality with the glare and the terrible background are just not going to be easy to overcome. If you need something for your church, in this time of selfies and cell phones and do it yourself photography, it would be easier to spend 15 minutes "dressing up" the family and taking another shot. Your profile doesn't say where you live but most people have a CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc close by and can send and get a print the same day if you don't have a photo printer at home.
