From what I've read they're only in the Northern Territory and only a couple hundred miles inland.

You get them from Broome in Western Australia all the way around to northern Qld. And they do swim in the ocean.

@stapo49 there was a talk about putting them on, just before a healthy doze of rain we got a few weeks back.. Since in my area all houses have water tanks, that didn't grab much of my attention, noone was fuzzed about it

I remember hearing about someone finding a salty swimming 200 miles out at sea some years ago before the Broome incident so I'm not surprised that one was found that far south. I didn't hear about the Broome salty. I believe this video is the Broome fella you spoke of. Just scary.
