Here's Laughing at You

A laughing seagull, they always seem to be laughing at you.

A little darker on the blacks or shadowing perhaps? It was bright out and the exposure level was high but I used a -2 exp. comp. Any suggestions, critique?
f/8, 1/500 sec, ISO 100 @ 163 mm.
