I think your pictures are of superb technical qualities. Yet IMHO they suffer from not fully developed concept of them.
#1 Is I think too narrow to show the might of that place. Not enough sky, too much sand (for me), plus this tires tracks right in the front. It spoils the serenity.
# 2,3,4 seems like mere snapshots I am taking on the beach, when I am completely bored. And then erase them.
#5 again not fully "cooked". Water probably didn't came out the way you hoped for, lights of the city, I guess due to long exposure are a bit fuzzy and the glare of city lights make the sky grayish, unimpressive. You need help from our members, who do long exposures of this kind.
And regarding idea, I don't know, you wanted to make more of a documentary shot or pretty picture to adore the wall...

I dislike #3. The men look out of place.

#1 is really cool, excellent capture. I think that if you focused better on the man jumbing in #3, it would be a pretty cool photo. The focus on the background is just a little boring. Maybe if you adjust your focus setting to auto, it will capture the man moving instead of the background next time. #5 looks a little bit soft, was this shot handheld? It also seems like your exposure time could have benefited from a couple more seconds. The man running in #4 is more of a distraction than anything, without him, it could be really beautiful sunset capture.

Thanks so much for your detailed response.

I'm not sure I agree with your 2 points on number 1, as I rather enjoy seeing more beach, than sky, That's why it's called Herzeliyah Beach, not Herzeliyah sky :mrgreen:.
The tracks seem to help make it feel more like a beach scene, even if they don't don't really "go anywhere".
In number 2, I was trying to make a reflection image with a story, and can't seem to to "see" where I went wrong. I "feel" that didn't work, but can't seem to "see" why. Any ideas on that one?
In number 3, I was shooting specifically for a beach image with people for stock photos, and there were too many people to try and get releases, so I felt the easiest was for the people to be blurred, but still showing a beach scene with people playing beach games.
Number 4, I waited for close to 25 minutes for someone to come running by at sunset to catch an almost silhouette of a runner on a sunset beach. Do you think it would be better if the runner was more of a sillhouette?
Number 5 was a terrible shot, The city was very very very far away, and using my 250mm lens and the haze over the water, plus as you said not a long enough exposure ruined the shot. generally my long exposures come out really nicely. This was a "quick, I have to get the city skyline before I leave the beach" shot.

Without being biased or anything (okay maybe I am just a LITTLE biased ), I wholeheartedly agree with you number 1.
In number 3, I was shooting specifically for a beach image with people for stock photos, and there were too many people to try and get releases, so I felt the easiest was for the people to be blurred, but still showing a beach scene with people playing beach games.
Number 5 was definitely soft, but not because of being handheld, I actually used a tripod, it's more because of the disatnce that I was shooting through hazy air over the water. Next time I take the shot when I'm closer and it's less hazy. I definitely agree that it could have used a longer exposure.
Number 4 was specifically aiming to be a shot of a runner on the beach at suset, this again for stock photos.
