Nicely done!

Interestingly, your fourth shot, of the woman in the yellow dress and the Man in the gray suit I saw about about eight years ago, and sent to my friend Denise, from high school. The woman in the yellow dress is a virtual doppelganger for Denise as she appeared in the early 1980s. She was thrilled to see the photo. Surprisingly it was you who made the photo!

Thanks everyone!

Darrel, are you saying you saw my actual photo years ago? Wow, great memory!

Thanks guys, trying to get back into it after a long break. After years of waiting for the 1dx to fall into my used price bracket, just got one and am really excited, what a beast. I used the 1ds2 for years.

Yes! I saw your photo of the woman in the yellow dress and the man in the gray suit several years ago...the doppelganger effect was _very strong_. I sent a link to the photo to my friend Denise August.

1Dx. Really nimble and FAST in response. When the camera was brand new we used to have a forum member here(SW1TCHFX or something like that) who worked at Portland's Pro Photo Supply. I remember one day I went in,and he handed me the brand new Canon 1Dx and challenged me to fire off just one frame. I did so. He told me "You are the first guy who was able to touch off just one frame." However on my second and third tries, I ended up shooting two frames. At its fastest firing rate the camera was incredibly fast, at least by the standards of the day.

I shot a bunch of frames with the 1dx and the then new Canon 5D Mark III I believe it was, and the fairly- new Nikon D5. Each of the three cameras was excellent in terms of the files, and the autofocus systems worked splendidly in all three cameras.

Yeah the 1dx is CRAZY fast. And the images are beautiful. I had a real problem with frequent dust with my 1ds2 also. I loved the 1ds2, used it for years, but it was NOT good in low light. Some of the images above were actually taken with a 20d, my first Canon camera. BUt in good light, the 1ds2 took absolutely beautiful photos.

That photo of yours came up in my Facebook Memories about 2 weeks ago.

I guess it was 9 years ago!
