High School Basketball

Well I missed most of the season being down sick first with a nasty norovirus (great way to loose 13# in 3 days) and then shortly after that I got the real flu (lost another 11#) which between the two pretty much had me on the porcelain throne, in bed or on the couch for six weeks. My first shooting since mid-December.

So I got the last home games with the boy's season ending on Friday and the girls on to loser out brackets going towards the state title. Here's a few from both games. I really felt all out of sorts and missed shots/plays because I had not been keeping up on my shooting.

1. Jockying for position on the missed free throw.

2. Getting an explanation of the call...

3. Easy long distance 3 pointer...

4. Final seconds securing a rebound and getting instantly fouled. Really slows the game down at the end when they do that.

5. Heidi tosses in a free throw...

6. Keeping a close watch on the ball...

7. Pushing hard to get up the floor...

8. ... and she took it all the way for the lay in.

9. Girls are animals when they scramble on the floor for a loose ball.

Nice series Tony, although I'm not a big fan of the last one, too many people in front of the action. I really like the one with the coach and ref.
