We have been building the "Splashing" portion of our portfolio lately. Here is one of our concepts coming to fruition. We think it turned our quite nice.

did you toss the brush? a little explanation?

This is a compilation of two shots, we took 1 image of a brush handle and then 1 image of a hand flinging paint. We then compiled the two to give it a surreal effect.

gotcha! Very nice.... and messy :). Then maybe you should push it a little further with the surreal effect. Liquify the paint on the top and shape it like a silhouette of a face or something? Just an idea. It is nice the way it is already.

Good idea, we will look into that. And yes... Quite messy!

I like it, but without the explanation and/or title, it could just as easily be laying on a piece of black paper or cloth. Nothing to me suggests that it's "splashing" or in the air, if that's what you were going for...but that could just be me...

I find this "cool" and technically superb, and it's very dynamic, however it isn't really stirring any emotional response in me. To be honest, my eye is drawn more to the contrasting textures of the brush (bristles, metal, wood) and the red text on the handle.
