Hmm, question about photoshop

Take this saturated picture for example:

When I paste it in photoshop the photo looks wierd. The yellow gets a red cast. why? I think its in a prophoto format, but i have photoshop set in a prophoto workspace also. So im confused. Thanks!

Profile mismatch or monitor calibration problem.

I opened it in photoshop, and the image has no embedded profile. I assigned the AdobeRGB(1998) profile and the colors were just fine.
The problem could be that you have photoshop set to ProPhotoRGB, and this image doesn't translate well to that profile.

Since it's a jpeg on the web, it's probably been clipped alot already.

If you go into your color settings, you can set photoshop to ask you what to do when there's a profile mismatch.
This applies to opening a photo, or pasting a photo.
