Hold Over

With a single-day record snowfall yesterday, my Dahlias are more than done, cut, dug, and stored in the basement. But I wandered back through some older shots and finished a few that I hadn't before.

This is a little different angle than most that I did and as colorful as the Dahlias were, I didn't do much b&w. B&W floral can be a little iffy, but I think it works here as there is enough texture to hold my attention.

Looks nice, a little like pencil drawing.
The only thing I would revise the framing, maybe there is a little to much of black on the bottom. Like the stem is not that interesting... Well, I feel something is off balance.
