Fireworks this evening behind the octagon of Ely Cathedral.

Hardly a ringside seat from 2.5 miles away from our house!

A little blurry of course, but I love the explosion right behind the Cathedral! Was it windy as well?

Slight breeze and a little haze in the aid - fortunately the rain earlier had passed by! Told we may get our first frost later.

The Cathedral is on the skyline about three miles away across the fens. The floodlit octagon can be seen from miles away.
