The 3rd image, you can narrow the aperture to get good sun glare and use flash to light up the foreground. IMO

Lol luckily I'm too far NE to be in the bakken yet. They're moving in fast though, the nearest rig is about 75 miles west now!

I know the feeling, I live near Houston and the rigs are creeping closer and closer to me as well. I've done the Fargo-Bismarck drive many times not much to look at but a relaxing drive. (Except for the darn wind.
