Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I took some pics for my neighbor on a horse they are going to sell. The shavings in her tail bothered me the most! what else could I do to make it better? I tried to get one without the tree in the background, but they are about every 12' so it is dang near impossible.

Drain pipe keeps them from chewing on the bark and killing the tree

Honestly, they are selling a horse not your photo. I would have waited until the horse was further from the fence. If you shoot at a wide aperture, your background will be out of focus.

or

Take one of those zooms you have, I would say the 28-135, stay towards the long end of the lens, f3.5, and you will barely be able to distinguish a tree in the background.

They should take the horse to another area where there is no distracting background ... or at least the background is further away.
Then they should lead the horse in a light trot while you take the photos.

That does look better with most of the tree gone! I thought I originally had the aperture open as wide as it could go but I guess at some point I hit it and changed it. I will try shooting it on the longer end of the lens also. That horse does not extend her trot well on lead that is why we had her in the arena.

Since it says in your profile that it is OK to edit your Photos... I know its not perfect; But I wanted to try my hand at removing the BG and cutting the horse out.... I also converted it to Sepia. You can take it and give them a copy if you like it...

It was good practice for me.
