Horseshoe Bend

Probably one of the most photographed places on Earth, but I still had it on my bucket list to go shoot this lovely spot.

Every time I see an image of horse shoe bend I think of the John Whane films
I thought they filmed one there but it was dry. Has the bend always been full of water

Cool picture - where is that road?

The road is just off of Interstate 84 about 80 or 90 miles east of Portland Oregon not too far from a small town called Mosier. It is located in the scenic Columbia River Gorge area, and is an often photographed place here. I have only been there once, back in 2012, when I made that photo
