Have you tested out what a b&w version of this one would look like? Maybe the whiteness of the sky would be less conspicuous then?

And for whichever reason this is so: this photo immediately struck me as one that looks extremely 2-dimensional only. I wonder why this is so? Why is it I can see no depth in it, even when I try? You might have planned for it to look this very 2-dimensional, for all I know, and maybe are happy about me finally telling you that you succeeded?
