Our town has a freedom celebration every year with a big cook-out and fireworks. It is hosted by our local Fire Department so it is held the last weekend in June, so they are available for calls during the week leading up to and including July 4th. (It is legal to shoot off fireworks in town during this time. A whole other story with images) Each year they bring in some helicopters for people to look at. I have missed them flying in each year but I was ready this time. Shot with a Canon 7D mk II and a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens with very little if any cropping.
