Oh no, you have bugs already??? And we're still waiting for the snow to melt...

We do in Houston. Two weeks ago the more abundant dragonflies and monarchs were out and about.

For snappers, I'm not so sure. Sure, I was shooting with something other than a camera, but it had a lens on it. Does that count?

Awesome! sounds like you guys had lot of fun some nice shots. Them snappers get really big and that powerful Jaw.Thats one Turtle that don't hide there head in the shell but sticks it out even further to try and take your fingers off. When I was a kid I had a bunch of baby snapper in a big fiberglass tube outdoors of course. I feed them all the lunch meet,hot dogs,hamburger meat, they where living the life while my parents couldn't figure out where all the meets where going after just shopping.:lmao:

Well we covered 8 miles so there were a few things to shoot, but everything is a little late getting going this year. In the next few weeks it will get real busy there. After a few more cups of coffee I'll be back out there, but i won't be walking 8 miles today lol


Hopefully these guys have eaten all of the gnats
