How can do not illuminate the background of the photo?

Why do I always take pictures with a clear background. PS a lot of trouble.

The sites software has auto moderated this post and in reflection of the content I've removed the link you placed since it links to an offsite commercial website and could be seen by members and staff as being an advertising attempt.
