Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I'm using Windows, but the view->large icons option just shows Photoshop file icons and not a thumbnail of my photos. That means that in order to look for a spasific photo I need to open each file untill I find the one I want, and that just feels like a complete waste of time. Is there an option to see the thumbnails of RAW files in windows?

I have a nikon, thats great! Thank you! I owe you something like 2,767,843 seconds of my life.

Yes, since you have a Nikon camera, you can download Nikon ViewNX2 free. I use it, and it seems to work well.

Your camera probably came with software to view your RAW files, and installing that software (or the camera as a device) may also install the codec required.

Another option would be another viewing program that includes the ability to see raw files. Irfanview is that that I used for several years. Picasa maybe?

What software are you using to edit/process your raw files? Have a look at Lightroom, besides being a great raw processing software, it's also an outstanding cataloging solution.
