As Sparky above mentions it appears that the fone was in Pano mode
FYI-- in pano mode the camera module will take a series of images, sort of slices, of the scene as the fone sweeps across the scene, then in software, the fone glues each slice together
It is easily seen at the extreme edges where the black bits are, along with the left-side bricks that do not line up with their neighbours
Once you discover the 100% as to how it works, you can have some beaut fun with the pano feature, but those results are more for fun than for serious results
