I was researching Photography , looking for equipment and lenses ans such when the web site appeared in the list of searches, I followed it and the rest is history. I am enjoying learning how to use the site and reading articles and view pics.

OK I guess I'm supposed to go on, aren't I?
I used to collect cameras. I have about a hundred, I'd guess. Getting information about them and finding new stuff got to be too commercial, so I quit. I still love my little display of antiques, and I've never met a camera I didn't love, but the pressure is just too much if you're on a pensioner's income. I'm 81, and 25% of my cameras are older than I am. None of them are elligible for Social Security, or I'd still be buying 'em!
Hope to be a part of this forum, wish they'd have a category for old stuff.

I've always thought about investing in a good camera, but my Samsung S7 is just so much more convenient. Anyone have an opinion of smartphone photography? Do you love it or hate it?

I asked a question on many sites and got tired of being ignored. Needed a forum that was exclusive to photography and found this. Hopefully this site will be the one I am looking for.

Surprisingly, I Googled "top photography forums" and this was the first choice. Also a plus because it's on Tapatalk, which I use on my iPhone a lot for other forums.
