How do i adjust my camera to get this type of look?

Is it exposure that gives it that type of dreamy look?

Other than what Sparky said, just cool the white balance down. Nothing special going on in it.

I guess you're referring to the fact the white walls around her are overexposed? Just go somewhere bright (with white walls) and expose for the subject, not for the scene. The white backdrop and the subject not wearing any white are the keys here.

I saw the original image last night, and was waiting until the unauthorized, copyrighted, professional's image was pulled before I replied....you know so *** ******** wouldn't come in and spout off and tell me what an idiot old man I am and say that my judgement is bad and I can't shoot myself free of a lenscap...

Looked to me like it was shot with a medium telephoto lens from close-ish range, something like a 135mm f/2 telephoto lens at f/2.8 or so from about 15 feet, hence the shallow DOF look to it.

The shallow DOF is what I interpreted as "dreamy".

The OOF background could be called "dreamy" by some people I guess.
