How is this for flying birds

Nice BIF shots. Not sure what you mean when you say - "Not sure why it dosen't look as sharp here." - the birds look sharp and the background is not sharp because it looks like this was taken by panning with the birds. The other possibility is that sometimes when you have to "shrink" a file for the web and/or convert it to sRGB and jpeg for posting, the image loses some of its sharpness. Happens to the best of us.
