How much should I charge?

Hi everybody,

I got a guy from the UK who wants to buy some of my prints. I am a pro photographer (www.ivangarcia.net) but I am not used to sell stuff through the net (mainly do fashion, reportage, and social photography).

How much shall I charge for each picture? He wants 18 of them printed on 8x10 paper.

no but really, it depends on what he's using them for.

What does he want them for? What rights does he want? What rights do you retain? How will they be printed (ie. machine or custom)?

Nice photos. Why don't you check other sites to see how much they charge and work out your own fees.

Matted photographic 8x10's sell at Florida art shows for around $25. If they're unmatted and inkjet prints, I would think $15-20. Since he wants 18 of them, a volume discount is in order. I would put it at around $10-15 each. The only thing that really matters, is what is he willing to spend!
