It was the the first shoot i using it and damn, seriously i am shocked on how sharp it is. Sure this shot was shot at F5 but still, i didn't expect it to be that sharp. from all the shot i did with that lens that night, they all came out sharp like this, focus on.

some post processing was done to the shot but no sharpening.

Here is a large pictures

Wow, that thing is extremely sharp. Just looked up the price and it's going for about 500 right now, not a bad price

yup, trade my ps3 for one, best thing i ever did hahah,

That spot was dusty as ****, water and crap everywhere, my 24-70 is definitely going to stay home when i will be shooting in these conditions.

nice shots man! ive got a d3100 with a sigma 18-200 and was thinking to upgrading to this lens or getting the nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 one, i like to shoot cars, horses and some portraits what would you recommend i get?

Yup, I love my Tammy 17-50mm F2.8.

I'd still rather have the Canon 17-55mm F2.8 IS, or the 16-35mm F2.8 L....but those lenses are two and 3.5 times more expensive.

It's strictly personal preference, but I think that 24mm just isn't wide enough for a 'normal range' zoom
