how to click using a telescopic sight?

i have the following requirements, and am faced with the challenges/obstacles lister below-1have to shoot subjects, at 200 metres and beyond, 2cannot carry large telephoto lenses like the nikon 600mm,since weight and portability is an issue. 3. have access to telescopic sights, hence the question arises can i put a telescopic sight infront of my d3x or d700 using an adaptor or a barrell which would help in clicking the picture. 4 or if any one has tried using some other contraption for clicking pictures at such adistance. i am open to any suggestions.thanks in anticipation

Are you saying is there any other way of taking photos from far away with a long lens? Well you've got a D3x so just use a 70-200 x2 tc and then crop in....
