how to get Jimmy Fallon tickets etc..

i may be in NYC a for St Pats Day. Saw the link for Fallon et all type tickets, but any insider tips by the locals?
Saw the sound check for SNL a few years ago with
Aerosmith because 'I knew a guy with the show' . Alas, no help this year.
Any tips appreciated. I may come in Thurs night, stay til Wed. (3/12-3/18 ish)

If you're not able reserve tickets in advance, we do have STANDBY TICKETSavailable same-day for each show. These don’t guarantee admission, but when we have extra spaces or cancellations, we give those seats to the people in standby line. To grab tickets, arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the taping under “NBC Studios” marquee on the 49th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. If you arrive after 9:00am, you can check the NBC Experience Store to see if there are any extra standby tickets available. Before you go, please call our Ticket Office to confirm that we are taping on the day you wish to attend. The Ticket Office is open 9am - 5pm EST, Monday through Friday at: (212) 664-3056.

Sometimes, yes. But, Jimmy Fallon is really, really popular right now. I would imagine they have to run a tight ship regarding tickets, and they probably try to squash any tips/workarounds.

Well, if all else fails, you could go down there, hide in the shadows, and jump out at someone who HAS tickets and try to scare them so bad that they drop them and run away. I'd suggest practicing slobbering on yourself while doing the Tarzan yell at the top of your lungs. That should do the trick.

Tickets went on line for March shows at 11:30 this morning. 4 of us on line and in 11 minutes, they were gone, baby, gone!
Oh well..may try stand by, but we"ll see.
