How'd They Do It??

Hi everyone-

I want to bring my photos to the next level and increase my PS skills. I like the look of Dave Hill (for some photos, not all!). I like the smoothness and slightly cartoonish effect. For those not familiar with him, here's a link:

Lighting is the key.

High key lighting and and creative use of reflectors seem to do the majority of his work. Though some of his PP is rather in depth, mostly looks like contrast masks, hi-pass filters and some sharpening.
