Huge dust storm happening.

Well, I was watching one of the Planet Earth DVDs and I heard a strong wind blowing outside. I looked and I couldn't see the house across the street! The dust was so thick!!

We have those strong ones once in a while, most of the time it's like a light dusting. This one was thick!

What does that kind of thing do to the paint on your car?

We saw pics of it in our TV news!
I was thinking of all our Arizona-based members, wondering who of them experienced it directly? You did. It looked FIERCE!!!

Not much, since they don't last long. My cars are garaged anyway.

A strong rain storm followed and cleared all that dust away.

Oh, that wa a baby storm compared to this one. Yeah, we had a pre-rain dust storm a few days ago.

You should see the wall of dust approaching, pretty impressive. Nothing like the ones in Sahara but nevertheless awesome.
