I had 102 private messages and got an e-mail saying I had a new one (so that'd be 103). I log in and I have no new ones and my number has dropped down to 99. I know what was in the new one because there's a copy in the e-mail. But where has that and four other gone, how and why?

I have noticed that as well. Even my number of posts significantly decreased overnight!!

Yes, after the third forum crash last night, only data as far back as Monday noon our European time could be re-established, anything between then and today has gone lost for good. So sorry about that.

Make sure you log off, clear your caches and come back on. That may well help the forum run more smoothly from now on, more so since there still are a couple of wobbles here and there.

Do report anything you stumble upon which does not work as it should, ok?
