Perhaps not the best quality, like you suggested.
But WAAAYYY better than the shots you don't take!

That is a very cool capture. I've heard their little beaks snapping on occasion but never got a shot like that.

That is a terrific capture! Anyone who has observed hummingbirds knows they move like lightning. It's extremely hard to get anything good of them in their natural habitat, let alone feeding like this in mid-air (which is a big part of what they do).

Sometimes technical perfection must take a back seat to getting the real action. Be happy with this one!
 
Thanks Terri! They move really fast, the trick is to just manage to keep them in frame!
