Hummingbird

Hi all,

I'm a complete rookie to photography but managed to snap this (what I think is) great shot of a hummingbird in my garden today after much effort and many tries. Taken with a Canon PS SD600.

Welcome to TPF. Great job with the hummingbird photos...they're tough to get (IMO) given how quickly they flit around.

Hey there, I was a bit curious myself and looked it up, apparently they're called ruby-chested hummingbirds, I thought it was a disease of some kind but apparently its completely normal.
