I find that foreground thing extremely distracting. I cannot make out what it is, I stare at it and wonder ... lying, dead birch tree? Shadow play on the ground? I can't tell... while the rest is very naturalistic. Drives me crazy!

And yes, the typical: if this were mine-comment now (which no one ever needs to observe, of course!): mine would be "warmer", I guess. Like Mersad is saying: not quite so blue.

:thumbup: That's almost exactly what I'm attempting to get the viewer to feel. Toss in a sense of mired footsteps, labored breathing, and maybe a touch of desparation ...
