I'd keep it and crop it to a square off the right side.

I definitely don't think you should trash it. Not sure about a square crop, though I do agree that playing with various crops might lead you to a result you like better. I'd make sure that the cropping is more on the bird on the left/foreground, while keeping all of the right/softer bird in the frame. Moving in closer, losing more of the left side.
