I can see again!

So today my boss asks me to strip down a spreadsheet, extract all relevant data then create a new spreadsheet to put the information back in, in a more logical context.

Not a problem normally but it does mean 6 hours of staring at my VDU.

After about 2 hours I have the worst on-migraine headache of my life and I can't see a thing, even with my glasses on.

Out of desperation, I asked my colleagues if I could borrow their glasses - I felt a bit like Goldilocks.

"These are too strong"
"These are too weak"
"These are just right!"

My colleague then GAVE me his glasses - bemused I asked him why.
He bought them from the local supermarket for £3.
I checked my latest prescription from the optician (not bought my new glasses yet) and the diopter strength of these glasses is spot on for my prescription.


Suddenly, the world is clear again!
