clean the friggin kitchen! And why does the bathroom sink get so disgusting? I mean, seriously, WE ONLY WASH OUR HANDS IN THERE!

Argh. I hate mopping, and my son is going to freak out because I have to move the kitchen table, I just know it. Someone post something controversial and incorrect that way I have an excuse to put off chores.

Come on guys! I can't put this off any longer without a reason!

HELP ME PROCRASTINATE!

GAH- you guys are worthless.

Off to the kitchen. Boo!

Sorry I was procrastinating on another site

still if you're doing the kitchen you can come round and do my cooker and dishes too ;)

Upopoular, you're a smart guy. You know that dirt multiplies itself. The rate depends on what it is and where it is. The dust bunnies under my bed have a doubling life of about a week. The stuff under the fridge seems to take a month to double up. The catch-alls for the stove burners seem to do it daily. The sink... that seems to sprout new stuff hourly. That also seems to apply to the bath/shower. So every day you procrastinate, you are doubling the work you're going to have to do. Not to mention that you're already thinking about it even before you do it. On a side note, the famous saying used by Nike was motivated by the bathroom chores, not sports. And uttered by the wife of the marketing guy.;)

Just throw your dirty dishes that need to be washed in the freezer, it will keep until your freezer fills up. Then you might have to do dishes....

Ah the stupid things I did during college.

LOL!

One thing that helps me get motivated is to watch episodes of hoarders. I then will go into a fit of panic, paranoid that at any moment 12' piles of trash will spontaneously appear if I don't clean.

And why is it that every soda can we ever drank ends up under the couch?

It's a good thing we don't drink much soda...

Yeah Hoarders is a really good motivator. Scares the crap out of me each time I watch it.

^Pica sucks. I had it while I was pregnant. SO had to do the dishes and laundry because I had a craving for the detergents.

Thankfully the cause was just mild anemia and has since gone away.

Get a wife!

Ladies, ladies, ladies I am only joking!!!

LOL - awesome thread. Although, now knowing that you had visitors, I am guessing that was your cleaning motivation? Hopefully they visit OFTEN
