Looks like an iris to me.
They are pretty flowers, all right!
I love to see them in their natural colour, but this is ok, too.
You had a very shallow DOF only, why?

That is f/5.6, you should have seen it at 2.8.
The light was failing when I shot it, if I closed down anymore I would have needed the tripod that was sitting in my living room 4 miles away.
