Not to copy the artist, but just for personal interest. I bet it takes a lot of patience to cut all those strips and them keep them in order. I'll have to lock the cats in another room, they like to "help" with my projects.

YES!!!! Reminds me a bit (but only a bit) of David Hockney's multi-Polaroid mosaic pieces of the early 1980's. IJUST yesterday while tidying up, I found a portfolio with an 8x10 inch print I had cut into about 96 small squares, and displayed with about 3mm spacing in between each of the small squares. The print was from 1982.

This print-weaving looks super-exciting to me!

Wow, very interesting, but a lot of work. If I was to try a weave, I think help from cats would actually be beneficial to a more successful image.

Well they are ever so helpful when I use my spinning wheel or loom, so they have the requisite experience.
