Looks good! I think the color is ok as it, gives it a surreal feeling.

That color is SOOC, no PS on that.

Thanks for the comment, now if only the other 42 people that've viewed this would chime in...:er:

very nice... you have convinced me to add it to my to do list

How did you achieve this? I could jut goole but I'm interested in the way you did it. Nice I like the Last one the best!!!

Well that's a good thing!

Camera on tripod. Put a clear glass basin on a stool under a floor lamp. Filled basin to the brim with water. Taped a big sheet of white paper on the stem of the floor lamp to bounce the flash off of. Go a ziplock back full of water, taped Ziplock bag to the lampshade. Positioned camera so it was level with the basin. Poked a hole in the ziplock with a needle. Put a pen in the water where the drip was falling every time. Manually focused on the pen. Connected my wired trigger, started shooting!

Tried various settings, flash , no flash, etc. The flash proved to work just fine!

Looks good, what color background? Did you use OCF? What lens? Oh, so many questions.

White background with Tungsten WB for blue color
No OCF, just the popup.
50mm f1.8 lens

Thanks for the comments everyone!!

#3 rocks! I like the reflections captured in the drops. Nicely done.

Great job, all nice and sharp. I like #1 and #5 the most. I gotta try these again...

Damn....if it can be that easy, I need to try that too this weekend.
It's still on my Photo-to-do-list.

Like your shots. Nice and crisp

I think the last one is really awesome if it is what I think it is.

Waterdrop shot in 10000 frames a second. [VIDEO]

The video shows how when a water drop falls into a pool of water, half of that drop bounces back up, and then half of that bounces up, and then half of ... (you get the point)

Looks like you got the drop after the first bounce.

Also, really nice shots in general, especially for straight out of the camera. Amazing. Nice crisp focus and depth of field as well.

Thanks. I'm going to do it again and try and introduce some color this time...

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where'd you get the idea it was easy? My setup was simple, sure, but I took over 200 photos and got maybe 7 out. It's almost like...luck...

LOL, thanks for the comment.

That could very well be what it is, I had my face in the camera so I can't be sure though...

I meant that the color was SOOC, the shots in general had quite a bit of tweaking in LR. Sharpening, lightening, removing some specks, and noise removal mostly.

Thanks for the comments!

Sorry, but I meant the simple setup.
I know it's not easy. But I always had the idea you needed like half a pro foto studio to make these shots. It's fun to try.
