I need help Please!

Ok I took some pictures on Sunday and I can not find the right way to edit them to give them depth they are really flat and get them brighter or make the colors pop a bit, and any other editing tips would be great. I am really new at editing and trying everything but not liking. I am unable to download the pics because they are to large???? Why are they so large? So Frustrated...

Would be better to put what you want to do through google or look up tutorials on you tube. It is a lot easier to follow that way.

Open in either Elements or Photoshop.
Image>Image size and change the setting to 1000 px on the long side. Be sure the boxes in the bottom of the dialog are all checked.
Then upload

Did you use a flash? You really need some full light...just my opinion
