Hi, I've been viewing your forum for a while now taking a lot in as I've continually became more interested in photography, I have yet to have any formal training unfortunatly but am in love with capturing ppl and scenery.

I at the moment only have a digital point and shoot but hopeuflly that will change soon. i feel its beginning to limit me. I am still brand new to the photography thing and found that this forum is and will be for a long time a great help in building what small talent i have lol.

I'm looking forward to getting all of your thoughts on what photo's i may post and all the wisdom that comes with the reading of this forum.

Hey another Ohioan Welcome to the forum. I started out 2 years ago with a digital point and shoot. After spending over $2000 on a DSLR and lenses, and enjoying them very much, I wish I had a point and shoot again, for the portability and ease of use for certain situations. I've come full circle I guess. Anyway, good luck and post some photos soon

hey there matt, it's cool to see some ohio people here lol, have you ever been to a place in south easter ohio called "old mans cave" I've noticed you like to do scenery and nature photo's and the caves down here are some great sites, i have yet to go out there with a camera, (havent been out there since i've become so interested with photography) but i am looking forward to it bc i live right near the place.
