Oh. Oh! I thought the chairs were the point of the image; didn't get it. The sandal is obfuscated by the chairs. Might have been more punchy to turn the chairs around.

I have to disagree with both of you. I didn't need for it to be obvious.
I really like the tones in this image. Did you make it B&W in post, or in camera? Did you do any fooling around with levels, or is this straight up?

I think it's a nice little image myself.

The worst I could say, is you clipped a chair leg on the right side.

Hahah thanks. Yeah, I used the Nik Silver Efex Pro plugin and played around with the presets. I had to clone part of the image a bit actually. This is the original:

I see now, from the original, maybe getting the molding level would have been nice.
But I love how the wall looks so much older and "worn" in your first pic.
